Project Installation Manager
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £45,000 – 55,000 (Depending on experience)

The Company
Our client is a leading provider of mechanical engineering services in the area, supplying, designing, and installing Bespoke Heavy Manufacturing Equipment, Largescale Industrial Machinery, and Special Purpose Machinery. Established in the area, they have built a strong reputation for delivering quality service to their clients. Their team designs and fabricates a variety of products and pride themselves on providing a high standard of craftsmanship and innovation. As a business, they are experiencing growth and a consistent large volume of incoming projects; as such, they are looking to make changes to their project team to ensure consistent quality cover and support to all clients.
The Role
The role of Project Installation Manager will be to act as a steer and support for the Service department, taking on ownership of projects after manufacturing up to installation and commissioning. The successful Project Installation Manager will be directly responsible for 2 Service Engineers, always ensuring sufficient resources for clients. Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, responsibilities will include:
* Scheduling Site Survey Engineers
* Booking in installations
* Advising clients if and when servicing of products is required
* Upselling new projects
* Allocating resources
* Method statements and risk assessments
* Being the point of contact for the client
* Ensuring Flights, hotels, etc. are booked for Engineers
* Writing up reports
* Controlling the budget
The Person
To be successful in the role of Project Installation Manager you will:
* Have a relevant mechanical qualification OR relevant mechanical industry experience
* Have project management experience with previous responsibility for delivering projects on time and within budget
* Be able to travel internationally when required – up to 3 times per year
* Be able to read and understand technical drawings
* Have knowledge of installation processes and challenges
* Exhibit excellent time management skills
* Possess client-facing skills with excellent communication
