About the role
Our Food and Beverage department is a key part in providing our passengers with a smooth and positive journey through our airport. Our F&B Team Leaders are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurants, bars, and cafes across the terminal. Here’s what you will be doing day to day:
* Oversee, manage, and develop a team of F&B assistants.
* Responsible for the rota for my team, including shift and daily duties allocation.
* Manage stock control, including ordering, rotation, and waste control.
* Handle the movement and storage of stock deliveries.
* Serve customers at their table and at the till point.
* Prepare hot and cold beverages.
* Prepare hot food items and deliver them to our customers' tables.
* Ensure cleanliness of equipment, floors, and tables.
* Work with my team and colleagues from other departments to consistently deliver exemplary service.
* Fully embody the Airport's ‘One Team’ culture, understanding that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
* Understand that the Airport operates 24/7, so I may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

* Supervisory experience in a food and beverage setting.
* Hold a level 2 in Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
* A full understanding of both front of house (Restaurant, Bar, and Café) and back of house (Kitchen management) operations.
* Experience in customer service.
