Pay: GBP 53,469
Hours: M:F 12pm:10pm / 45 hrs (Moving to 6am:4pm in circa 6 months)

HGV Workshop Supervisor opportunity
My client, a well:established company is actively seeing to employ an experienced and qualified HGV Workshop Supervisorfor their depot in Coventry. Be responsible for working on an internal fleet of circa 70 commercial vehicles.
As the Workshop Supervisor on the late shift (M:F 12pm:10pm) you will drive the required repairs forward from a VOR and inspections list to increase and maintain vehicle availability.
This role would also require a balance between workshop admin / staff direction (10) as well as contributing to vehicle maintenance (90) including servicing, inspections, defect repairs, MOT preparations as well as any other work requested by the Workshop Manager.
Excellent opportunity to progress into the role of Workshop Manager for the right candidate within circa 6 months where you will then reduce your time on the tools and move onto a M:F 6am:4pm shift
HGV Workshop Supervisor duties
: You will be working on an inhouse fleet of circa 70 commercial vehicles to include tractor units, trailers, skip loaders and front loaders
: Working in a well:equipped workshop, the successful HGV Technician will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance.
: Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.
: You will also be required to undertake inspections and pre:MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.
HGV Workshop Supervisor qualifications / experience required
: Proven experience of leading small teams with the desire to move into a workshop manager role within 6 months
: In order to qualify for the role, the successful HGV Technician will ideally have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City and Guilds) or be time served
: You must have extensive experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
: IRTEC trained would be beneficial but not essential
: Able to work a M:F Late shift (12pm:10pm) then in circa 6 months move onto a M:F Day shift (6am:4pm)
Full UK driving licence
