Main duties of the job The post-holder will be responsible for the operational clinical management of Radiography and Fluoroscopy staff, leading the delivery of the Radiography and Fluoroscopy service and deputising for the Imaging Operational Manager. The post-holder will have extensive post-registration clinical experience and undertaken post-graduate study. It would be highly desirable for the post-holder to have undertaken post-graduate study at a Masters Level. To ensure the timely, efficient, and courteous provision of general radiography services, across general X-ray (including Cauldwell X-ray), Emergency Department, Theatres and Orthopaedics, and the Community Diagnostic Centre. To provide clinical leadership for all radiographic examinations on site, andprovide an efficient service while maintaining a high standard of patient care. The post-holder will interact with the Imaging Department Modality managers to ensure the delivery of appropriate and reactive diagnostic imaging services. The post-holder will liaise with a variety of staff throughout the Trust, and work with non-hospital staff involved in the provision of equipment, materials, and services for diagnostic imaging. The post holder will assist with organisation of staff rotation in liaison with the other modality leads.
