ADULT PUBLIC PROTECTION ADVISOR POST – MATERNITY LEAVE
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual with an interest in public protection to join the NHS Grampian Public Protection Team on a fixed term/secondment basis.
The NHS Grampian Public Protection Team works across all the health services in Grampian to support NHS staff to keep people safe. Working with colleagues, the role of the Adult Public Protection Advisor is to offer advice and support to our staff in various areas of Public Protection, (such as Adult Support and Protection). The post holder will also undertake specific pieces of development work to support high quality multiagency working.
This fixed term/secondment opportunity is due to imminent maternity leave and offers an exceptional development opportunity for an individual interested in public protection. It will also offer unparalleled experience and development opportunities regarding multiagency and interdisciplinary work. The post will also offer an individual the opportunity to gain experience of line management.
Although, some knowledge of Adult Public Protection is necessary for this role, ongoing support and training will be offered to the successful candidate.

Normal place of work for the post will be NHS Grampian Headquarters – Summerfield House, Aberdeen City. Some hybrid working and flexibility on work location may be possible.
