Responsibilities
Include:
1. Development of layout, diagrams, and schematic designs using AutoCAD for drawing production
2. Integration of designs with Aveva E&I software packages and PDMS, including equipment layout and cable containment design
3. Creation of CE&I installation designs for allocated areas, ensuring compliance with project specifications
4. Oversight of other designers within the team to ensure quality and accuracy of work.
5. Collaboration with construction engineers to resolve installation issues and communicate changes.
6. Adherence to established BEP procedures for design development and control.
7. Communication and coordination with other designers across the project to ensure consistency.
What You Need to Succeed
8. ONC/D or suitable installation design experience combined with Aveva training and recent active experience.
9. Ability to develop CE&I designs to a high level of detail based on guidance from senior engineers and conceptual sketches.
10. Background and experience in design engineering related to hardware designs, cabling infrastructure, and CE&I deliverables.
11. Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing production
12. Experience and fluency in Aveva E&I (or E3D) software.
13. Knowledge of using and developing the PDMS Model is desirable.
14. Working knowledge of design methods and techniques in the CE&I discipline
15. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
