Domiciliary Care Manager – Cheshire - £40K

Amber Mace are working with a provider who is looking for an experienced Registered Branch Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking and innovative care organisation and support them from the very beginning of their journey.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the Domiciliary or Home Care sector and have a strong knowledge around CQC regulations and guidelines. This is a home-based role; therefore, someone who is self-motivated with a can-do attitude is essential. An organised, approachable person is needed for this fast-paced role as it will involve managing staff in various locations, such as health care assistants and nurses, whilst maintaining great relationships with clients and family members.
Job Role:
1. Oversee a staff team
2. Ensure CQC compliance and standards are met
3. Ensure the provision of appropriate levels of assistance at all times for all service users
4. Develop the Outreach care business in the local community
5. Ensure up-to-date and accurate records are kept on residents and service users
6. Manage recruitment, training and induction for new starters
7. Ensure performance in the areas of hours growth, profitability, people-management and quality.
8. To ensure that all care is assessed, planned, allocated, delivered and evaluated in line with procedures.
You will have:
1. Significant experience of management, including appraisals, coaching, performance management, managing budgets and financial information, as well as ensuring an inclusive working environment.
2. Excellent communication and people management skills and knowledge of current CQC regulations and compliance within the new framework.
3. Commercial awareness with an ability to develop your service in line with their Strategic Plan and build great relationships internally and externally.
4. Experience of managing a domiciliary service provision within the Health & Social Care Sector.
5. Ideally hold a Level 5 diploma in Health and Social Care, or have a willingness to work towards this.
