As a key part of our Organisational Effectiveness team, you will help drive Virgin Atlantic's strategic vision by implementing effective processes, tools, products, and support systems that promote high performance at individual, team, and organisational levels.
This role will focus on enhancing individual, team, and organisational performance management, upholding our values, managing organisational design and headcount, as well as strategic workforce planning and change management - all to benefit the business. Partnering closely with a designated directorate, you will act as a strategic advisor, providing insights and people data to support informed decision-making and prioritisation.

Day to day
* Develop and implement a forward-thinking approach to performance management that enhances the effectiveness of individuals, teams, and the organisation as a whole.
* Lead cyclical people processes across the organisation, working in close partnership with business units where applicable.
* Enable managers to hold meaningful, timely, and transparent conversations that reflect organisational values.
* Drive consistency and effectiveness in the use of performance tools and processes across the business.
* Partner with leaders to guide and execute large-scale change programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and fostering high performance.
* Provide strategic advice and coaching to leaders on delivering impactful change, promoting self-sufficiency for smaller initiatives while challenging their approaches where necessary.
* Align change efforts with organisational design principles, leveraging data-driven insights to maximise outcomes.
* Collaborate with the People Performance team to utilise key data and trends, ensuring organisational structures are optimised with effective spans and layers of control.
* Lead, facilitate, and support leaders in the delivery of team and individual effectiveness toolkits and frameworks aimed at driving organisational, team, and individual high performance.
* Work alongside leaders to ensure their teams and individuals have the appropriate structures, capabilities, and strategies to achieve sustainable high performance.
About you
* Significant experience in working successfully with stakeholders at the most senior level (up to Exec level) - influencing, supporting and challenging across a range of organisational effectiveness disciplines and acting as trusted confidante and strategic thought partner.
* Level 5 or 7 CIPD qualified.
* You must have a high level of resilience, positive mindset and adaptable with a background in taking organisations through large scale change programmes.
* Proficient to advanced Excel skills, with comfort in analysing and drawing insights from complex datasets.
* Skilled in building high-performing teams, coaching managers to foster an agile, high-performance culture, and deploying effectiveness tools effectively.
* Proven experience in leading organisational change initiatives and supporting managers through people-focused change programmes.
