Primary Role:
Our client is looking for a dynamic Audio Engineer / Live Event Technician to join our expanding team. Key Roles & Responsibilities:
* Rigging and operating audio equipment for a variety of live, virtual, and hybrid events.
* Collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality technical services.
* Leading a team of freelance staff, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, venue staff, and crew both onsite and prior to events.
* Maintaining and preparing audio equipment in the warehouse.
* Working with the Head of Audio to enhance and improve our department.
* Delivering and collecting equipment using company vehicles.
* Assisting other departments as needed to support the overall business.
Qualifications & Key Attributes:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a live events sound engineer, especially in the corporate sector.
* Experience with Front of House and Monitor mixing for live music acts.
* Previous experience with corporate conferences and awards ceremonies.
* Proficiency in Yamaha digital mixing consoles (CL and QL series).
* Knowledge of d&b line arrays, amplifiers, array calc, and R1 control network.
* Strong working knowledge of Qlab programming.
* Ability to work well within a team and independently.
* Skilled at handling pressure in live event environments.
* High standard of personal presentation and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to problem-solve and meet deadlines.
* Strong work ethic and the ability to lead by example.
* Flexible, customer-focused attitude with a keen eye for detail.
* Full UK driving license and own transport.

Working Hours:
This role requires flexibility, with weekend work expected due to the nature of the industry. We aim to ensure a healthy work-life balance where possible.
Holidays:
* 28 days per year.
* After 3 years’ service: Birthday off (within 7 days of your birthday).
* After 5 years’ service: Additional day off.
