Job Description As WMS System Training lead, you will be leading a team of initially 2 other trainers. The team will train operational colleagues on the new system. Your role will be responsible for the definition of the approach and method used to deliver training and this will be a critical element of the program’s success. You will be equipping colleagues with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilise systems and understand what is required of them where operational process has changed, delivering training that supports multiple learning styles and enabling colleagues to adopt to the changes necessary for a system implementation to be a success. What will you be doing? Create engaging training material and courses that impart the necessary skill and knowledge to colleagues. Organise courses and manage attendance, ensuring training is delivered to the right individuals, to the necessary standards and timeframe in order to ensure a successful implementation at each site the new system is introduced to. Manage colleague training records in order that we can demonstrate each colleague has appropriate knowledge to complete the tasks being asked of them. Create and maintain an online catalogue of training material that can delivered by trainers to colleagues or be accessed and used by colleagues and members of a sites leadership team to deliver retraining of existing colleagues and the training of new staff maintaining the desired operational standards and system process. Work with stakeholders to develop a training strategy that aligns with the overall system implementation plan. Ensure that training programs are integrated into the project timeline to align with the system rollout. Establish mechanisms for assessing the effectiveness of training programs, including post-training evaluations. Use feedback and performance data to make continuous improvements to the training curriculum and delivery methods.
