As a dynamic and growing business, we are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that values creativity, quality, craftsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly-organised and people-oriented HR professional to manage and administer all HR activity across the company. This will include:
* Recruitment and onboarding processes
* Payroll and employee benefits administration
* Employee relations and performance management
* Learning and development initiatives
* Exit procedures and employee offboarding
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a HR generalist or similar role, and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of HR laws and regulations. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Full ownership and coordination of the recruitment process, including supporting hiring managers with job adverts, CV sifting, and interview scheduling
* Coordination of the onboarding and exit process, including pre-employment checks and references
* Preparation of monthly payroll information and liaison with our external payroll partner
* Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee records and collation of information for HR reports
* Providing guidance to managers on employee relations issues and queries
* Reviewing and maintaining employee policies and company documents
* Coordinating administration of staff benefits
About You:
To be a successful candidate, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR generalist or similar role
* Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships
* Highly-organised and able to juggle competing priorities
* Strong IT skills, comfortable using MS Office and online systems
