You will join a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of Clinical Psychologists, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Learning Disability Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Systemic Practitioner and Support Workers, working closely with social care teams, specialist schools and colleges and local care providers. It is therefore essential that you are a team player.
You will be supervised and supported by a qualified psychologist to deliver specialist assessment and therapeutic interventions with young people and their families, with a strong emphasis on risk assessment, care planning and safeguarding.
Additionally, this varied role will include supporting the team in the collection of routine outcome measures, co-facilitation of groups, teaching, audit, participation/co-production projects and developing resources to support the delivery of the service.
About us
We take pride in being a supportive group of professionals, with a real ethos of care for the young people and families we see. We share core values of being person-centred, accessible and focussed on safeguarding children and young people. We offer an ecological systems approach to the assessment and management of emotional & psychological needs and maintenance of good mental health.
Our Trust has a close relationship with the UEA, providing placements for the DClinPsy Programme, along with other opportunities to become involved in teaching, training and research in the Trust.
We are currently combining office and remote working. Our base is located Lowestoft - close to the city of Norwich, varied East Anglian coastline and picturesque Broads National Park. So, as well as a rewarding role, there is plenty to offer in the local area as part of the work life balance we all strive for.
