We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager with a strong civils background to join our growing construction team covering sites across the north east of England.

About the Role:
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of assigned projects. Key duties will include:
* Supporting pre-start setup procedures including site set-up, developing site wide RAMS and traffic plans etc.
* Managing the daily activities of directly employed labour and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the quality required by the client.
* Undertake Site Inductions and regular Toolbox Talks to everyone visiting and working on the site.
* Ensuring that site costs are monitored and controlled and any variations are reported to the QS team.
* You will be involved in the preparation of progress reports as required and will be in attendance at site visits and meetings to ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
About You:
An experienced Site Manager, you’ll be educated to HNC/HND in Construction or equivalent experience, with sound knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations and quality standards. Due to the nature of the role, you must have a CSCS black card, CITB SMSTS and ideally a first aid qualification.
Due to the nature of this role a current full driving licence is essential.
You should be commercially aware with strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
