Excellent opportunity for an Associate / Senior Associate to join a growing and successful Asset Management Team.
The team has seen significant growth in the last 10 years and is one of the firms fastest growing teams, acting for Registered Providers and Local Authorities. The team is also recognised in Legal 500 & Chambers directory rankings and has done for a number of years. They continue to be appointed to some of the largest national and regional frameworks.
The asset management team, which handles the departments housing conditions claims, has a strong reputation within the sector and enjoyed significant success at trial defending claims on behalf of Social Landlords. This has led to an influx of instructions, including pre-litigation and litigated claims. The main focus of this role will be defending litigated housing conditions claims.
For this role you will be managing your own caseload of litigated hosing conditions claims as well as supervising the Junior Solicitors and Paralegals within the team. You should be well versed with drafting Defences and witness statements and preparing cases for trial.
The role will suit someone with previous experience working in a Social Housing team, ideally having represented Registered Providers / Local Authorities.
This role can be based in Cardiff or Bristol and as the firm work flexibility home working is also available.
