Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure the successful delivery of events and exceptional customer experiences. Support junior team members, providing guidance and training where needed. Take ownership of event planning, including booking venues, coordinating accommodation and transport, and managing group logistics. Lead on-the-ground event operations, including managing resort teams, liaising with clients and students, and handling any challenges that arise. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Ensure all booking and operational details are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor budgets, maintain profitability, and ensure client payments are received on time. Senior Operations Coordinator - What Experience Do I Need? Knowledge of travel operations, preferably within group tour management is essential. Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service. Experience in leading a team and coordinating complex events. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, can-do attitude. Excellent time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software. Knowledge of the school travel market or experience in sporting event coordination would be an advantage as would French language skills. This role is ideally office-based near Sutton with some flexibility to work 1-2 days from home.There will be travel overseas approximately four times a year to attend and oversee events.You will need a full driving licence as occasional driving in the UK and France will be required.On occasion, you may be required to undertake 24-hour duty officer responsibilities (full training provided).
