Business Development Manager My client: For over 25 years my client has continued to grow and expand within the technical, electronic - mechanical manufacturing world. They have a successful business model with plenty of design, NPI and manufacturing services to offer clients in many different sectors. The role of a Business Development Manager Create target hitlist and use your creative BD skills to contact, fact find, attend meetings to consult on bespoke manufacturing solutions, commercial and contract negotiation through to close. Develop, manage and maintain commercial and technical relationships with new and existing customers. Work closely with the internal and external Account Managers, NPI team, design engineers and project managers to develop industry knowledge. Prospect new, active and lapsed clients for new project enquiries. Develop contacts by networking / attending exhibitions to generate business opportunities. About you as a Business Development Manager Hunter / Farmer mentality with incredible personality, communication and relationship management experience. Good technical understanding of materials, engineering OR manufacturing processes Commercially astute Demonstrated gravitas and level-headed thinking under pressure. Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail and an ability to quickly prioritise multiple tasks. Tenacious and resilient with focus on meeting and exceeding objectives and serving the customer well at all times. An autonomous self-starter who will take ownership of all aspects of the role.
