Rail Plant Engineer - Stratford Job Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Plant Engineer, Rail Plant Engineer, or Heavy Plant Fitter
2. Experience working on Rail-Road Vehicles (RRVs) is highly desirable but not essential
3. Strong mechanical knowledge
4. NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential)
5. Familiarity with LOLER, PUWER, and other relevant safety regulations (advantageous but not essential)
6. Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently and accurately
7. Strong commitment to health & safety and working to high standards
8. Full UK driving licence required (PTS certification is a plus, but not essential)
9. Willingness to learn and undergo further training for rail-specific equipment
Rail Plant Engineer - Stratford Salary & Benefits
1. £18.50-£19.50 an hour dependant on experience
2. 40 hour working week (7:30-16:30. 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
3. Overtime available at weekends and evenings paid at £23.00-£24.00 an hour
4. 28 days holiday including bank holidays
