Overview
Airdrie Dental Care is a busy and well-established mixed NHS and private dental practice committed to delivering high-quality dental care in a professional and welcoming environment. The Dental Practice Manager will be responsible for managing both the administrative and clinical aspects of the practice, fostering a positive work environment, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
2. Manage financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting.
3. Supervise and support staff, including dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative personnel.
4. Implement human resource policies and procedures, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as dental industry standards.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with patients to enhance their experience at the practice.
7. Coordinate scheduling to optimise patient flow and staff utilisation.
8. Address patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Proven experience in a managerial role within a dental practice is preferred.
2. Strong skills in financial management to effectively oversee budgeting and financial reporting.
3. Experience in supervising staff with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
4. Knowledge of human resources practices related to recruitment, training, and employee development.
5. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure smooth operation of the practice.
6. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
