Days & Hours:
Monday: 09:00am - 17:00pm
Thursday: 09:00am - 17:00pm
16 hours per week, can be split into 2/3 shifts on weekdays.
No weekend work required.
NeuroSupport Services are currently recruiting Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with a background in Brain Injury and Mental Health experience to support service users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and enable people to optimize independence and quality of life.
We are looking for psychology graduates, support workers, healthcare assistants, or suitable candidates willing to support people within their home environment and help service users access the community.
Successful candidates will be willing to help people adapt to their limitations while striving to reach their goals and should be confident working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.
Client Requirements:
Our client, MP, is a 30-year-old man living in Nuneaton. He has an Acquired Brain Injury and Epilepsy. He requires a Support Worker of a similar age to support him with general socializing in the local area, sporting activities, keeping fit, and attending medical appointments.
This is more of a companionship/support role, as our client is fully dependent on his daily living activities.
The client's current Support Worker will be moving on in March, and the successful candidate will be required to shadow them for a short period before taking over the role.

* Must have a Full UK Driving License and access to your own car
* Experience in the field of Psychology
