Shift times: 07.30-21.30, Monday - Friday plus alternate weekends

Job Description
Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you'll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.
You will provide support with day-to-day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you’ll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
Our teams provide care and support for individuals with different conditions at Priory sites all across the UK.
It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However, whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people’s lives.

Responsibilities
* Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care
* Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes
* Assistance and support to attend medical appointments
* Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff
* Encouragement to participate in social and recreational activities
Additional Information
Martins is located in Ramsgate, in Kent. It offers residential support for two people who have a learning disability or are autistic. This includes individuals who present with mild, moderate or severe behaviours that challenge. We are in a semi-rural area, off a main road, just by the coast.
Our team is dedicated to encouraging the people we care for to be independent by developing life skills both in-house and in the community. We want to support our residents in their daily routines to ensure that they are living their life in a way that makes them feel happy, fulfilled and independent.
