Responsibilities: Develop and maintain rolling 18 month demand forecasts at various levels (SKU, category, divisional) using statistical models, historical data, and market trends. Develop suite of KPI's and demand planning reports. Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to incorporate business intelligence and market dynamics into demand planning. Monitor forecast accuracy, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to improve planning precision. Lead the Demand Planning step within Integrated Business Planning process to align demand forecasts with business objectives. Optimise inventory targets to balance service levels and cost efficiency. Utilise demand planning software and tools, primarily b2wise, to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency. Analyse the impact of promotions, product launches, contract and roll outs, and seasonality on demand trends. Provide actionable insights and reporting to senior leadership on demand trends and risks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting methods and processes. Mentor and support broader team in best practices and data-driven decision-making. Establish reputation for excellence in demand planning within the organisation. Participate in the annual budget process making recommendations based on the 18 month rolling demand forecasts. Support product launch process to include monitoring actual progress against launch sales forecast (including Point Of Sale). Represent supply chain in product launch meetings and feedback to the rest of the team. Monitor commercial specifications and manage the demand plan so that it accurately reflects the impact of the commercial activity upon the forecasts. Document all related processes and procedures to include training of other team members to ensure continuity. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. CIPS/IOSCM). 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics within the consumer goods sector. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in demand planning tools. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations. Experience with Integrated Business Planning or Sales and Operations Planning processes and inventory management strategies, preferably including implementation. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to decision-making. Advanced Microsoft Excel user.
