Salary: Up to £40K (depending on experience) for full-time; up to £20 per hour for part-time (depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the servicing, installation, and commissioning of veterinary and laboratory equipment across the UK, with occasional trips to Europe. While much of your work will be on-site with customers, you’ll also spend time at our workshop carrying out repairs, testing, and preparing equipment before deployment.
What You’ll Do:
1. Service and install veterinary and laboratory equipment.
2. Conduct site surveys and provide desk-side support.
3. Plan and manage service visits.
4. Carry out repairs, testing, and maintenance at our workshop.
5. Work closely with our design team, providing feedback on products.
6. Assist customers in developing and optimizing their equipment solutions.

What We’re Looking For:
1. Engineering Background – A solid understanding of general engineering principles.
2. Full UK Driving Licence – Essential for travel.
3. Microsoft Office Proficiency – Ability to use Excel, Word, and Outlook.
4. A Proactive, Customer-Focused Approach – You’ll be working closely with clients.
5. Flexibility to Travel – Some overnight stays required.
6. A Problem-Solving Mindset – Ability to troubleshoot and think on your feet.
Working Schedule:
1. Full-time: Standard workweek with flexibility as needed.
