Working at Wood Care Group as a Care Home Administrator, you will report to the home manager to effectively organise and manage all administrative/accounts matters relating to the home.
Your duties include handling telephone enquiries, liaising with the accounts department regarding ordering and enquiries, and assisting the manager with rota planning.
Working hours are Monday – Friday, 08:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities
1. Responding to emails
2. Writing/typing minutes from meetings
3. Scanning and photocopying
4. Performing general administrative tasks to support the home's daily operations
5. Assisting in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, expenses, leaves, etc.)
6. Planning and organising events, including catering, Employee of the Month, and newsletters
7. Supporting onboarding of new staff, scheduling induction days, and setting up on Care Control systems
8. Managing staff files and ensuring proper documentation
9. Assisting management with rota adjustments, clocking issues, and lateness reports
10. Supporting HR with employee data, sickness records, and documentation
11. Liaising with Head Office Accounts regarding fees, admissions, and occupancy
12. Performing any other ad hoc duties as required

3. Complying with fire safety procedures and health and safety legislation
