Shifts: 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm for 5 days out of 7 including weekend working.

About the role
The Boots.com Control manager, will help the organisation to achieve its Agile Transformational goals. Embed an Agile culture, methodology, tools and techniques to help teams keep a delivery and learning cadence that helps to remain focused on delivering value against the organisational outcomes, while remaining creative and dynamic.
Guide teams through the implementation process, encouraging colleagues and leadership to embrace the Agile mind-set and associated methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• To provide shift management of warehouse management systems which fulfil Boots.com orders and ensure KPI’s and SLAs are achieved, monitoring the daily workload progress & take any systems, engineering or operational actions necessary to ensure the work is completed on time
• Responsible for managing, leading & motivating a specialist team of Assistant control managers
• Analysis of issues post-resolution to accurately conclude the root cause & develop a clear action plan for resolution. Ensure issues & their resolution are documented accurately & best practice shared with other Control Room Managers
• Working with departmental managers, planning manager and knapp engineering managers to control and highlight requirements for current day and future days work load requirements
• Management of on site severity 1 issues with any of the boots.com burton systems including owning communications to senior stake holders.
What you’ll need to have
• Experience managing a technical team, IT equipment & resolving system related problems
• Experience of writing / developing management reports, working with automated warehouse systems & controlling use & repairs of IT equipment
• Exposure to project based work, warehouse processes & flows & extensive operational & people management skills
• A Self starter who can be an ambassador for the company & functional culture
• Demonstrate a flexible & adaptable approach, be able to resolve conflicts, maintain relationships & influence performance.
