Our client are a market leading consumer services provider based in Woking. Due to a recent finance restructure a newly created position has become available for a Transactional Finance Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this person will have responsibility for both the accounts payables and receivables for this £50m turnover, international business. The role is crucial in managing the day to day operation of the AP and AR functions and ensuring the team meet the monthly, quarterly and annual objectives. Responsibilities will include: Cash Collection & Credit Control Daily Banking/Cash allocations for all currencies and bank accounts Monitoring credit risk and conducting Credit Review Review & monitoring of aged debtors, working closely with Harvey customer excellence team, with weekly meetings, to help resolve complex queries and be of any support when chasing debt. Run weekly AR ledger analysis and report, with focus on 90 debt. Ensure to deal and effectively provide a prompt resolution to customer queries Purchase Ledger Ensure all invoices are posted to the correct department, nominal and/or inter-company and charging of central costs across the group is accurate Review aged creditors on a regular basis to ensure suppliers are paid accordingly Prepare mid-month and end of month supplier payments for all currencies Finance Support & Month End routine Liaising with Treasury on cash pooling movement during the month for all accounts and companies, moving money in excess, requesting funds if necessary. Bank Reconciliations- all currencies Monthly VAT reconciliation Inter-company balances reconciliation and reporting Applicants must have both AP, AR and people management experience. You should be well organised, be a confident communicator, and someone who can demonstrate the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers. The successful candidate should be confident using various finance systems and maniuplating data in MS Excel as they will be managing and analysing various dataflows.
