Accounts Assistant We are working with a leading manufacturer to recruit for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to be part of their finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation. This position is perfect for someone looking to develop their skills in finance and gain hands-on experience within a supportive environment. This is a permanent job based in Crumlin the hours are Monday Thursday 8am 5pm and 8am to 2pm on Friday and based full time in the office. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for: Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment approvals. Proactive chasing of debtors, resolving queries delaying payments. Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc duties at month end and year end Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all financial records are up to date. Perform customer account reconciliations. Open new customer accounts and maintain existing ones. Initiate and respond to enquiries and requests from other departments and customers. Utilise accounting software such as Sage to manage financial transactions and maintain records. Booking travel What you will need to have for the Accounts Assistant role: Previous experience within an Accounts role Experience of invoicing Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
