We are working with a national wealth management firm whose investment team are based in London. They have financial advisors across the UK and deal with their discretionary fund management offering. Our client is seeking an investment analyst to join their team due to the current analyst being promoted to a portfolio manager. This opportunity is to support the Portfolio manager and Head of investment management on Fund and Asset Allocation Research, the monitoring of Investments and reporting. Our client is happy to look at a graduate with a one- or two-years' experience and are happy to support with continuous development and training including IMC and CFA. Some of the duties : Support Investment managers in managing client portfolios Deal with client queries, and keep records updated Production on client portfolios and presentations Execute trades and make changes Lease with platforms regarding onboarding of new asset classes Assess portfolio suitability and performance Carry out portfolio and fund performance analysis Provide market updates to team. Calculating risk and returns from portfolios Meet with Financial advisor to update with portfolio performance Assist with queries from Paraplanners and advisors An Ideal candidate will have a knowledge of investment industry and financial products. Have a numeracy-based degree and preferably hold the IMC and happy to work towards the CFA. Already have some investment analyst experience, and a knowledge of Morningstar and Bloomberg.
