Agricultural Engineer - Wrotham
Our client, a successful dealership, is looking to expand their team with the addition of an Agricultural Engineer.
The Agricultural Engineer role comes with a fantastic basic salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience.
Hours: 42.5
Overtime available at 1.5x - OTE £45-50K
Company van and fuel card provided

Agricultural Engineer Key Responsibilities:
1. Repairing and maintaining machines on customer’s sites as required to ensure conformance with manufacturer’s specifications.
2. Accurately completing all relevant paperwork daily.
3. Accurately ordering parts and working closely with the parts department.
4. Working closely with the service supervisor.
5. Carrying out inspections and repairs of machines at our depot as required - in conformance with manufacturer’s specifications and any regulations affecting their use.
6. Ensuring that there is no deficiency or defect likely to affect the safe working of a machine – and notifying the appropriate manager of any defective or unsafe equipment.
Minimum Requirements for an Agricultural Engineer:
1. Relevant experience and qualifications: City and Guilds, NVQ Level 2 in Land Based Engineering or relevant essential.
2. Experience in agricultural plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment.
3. The ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
4. Good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
5. Good computer skills; however, training will be provided.
6. Full clean driver's licence.
