Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of pump systems and distributor of pumps and accessories, they are currently looking for a Sales Manager - Water / Pump Systems to join their team on a permanent basis. To work within the fast paced, exciting sales team. The role will be a part of the Civils and Water Company Team specialising in delivering customer solutions that include, clean water booster sets, packaged plant and wastewater packages. Promoting the company portfolio through various channels that operate within Civil, Water Companies & M&E sectors, these would include main contractors, water companies and their preferred suppliers and ground-workers. Also where necessary engaging with key consultants to ensure the product is specified to assist in securing the order. Your primary role is to create new opportunities in this field, convert quotations to orders, manage a list of larger potential and existing accounts, assist in getting products on asset standards registers and where necessary assisting in creating the best technical/ commercial submission. Supporting customers to find the best solution to meet their needs and ultimately becoming a trusted advisor. The role is hybrid in that the expectation is to be predominantly external, however due to the nature of enquiries a certain element would be expected to be home working. Principal Responsibilities/Duties: •Manage a list of existing consultants, customers and develop a defined list of potential accounts •To create technical/commercial quotations for clients •To create a relationship to become the “go-to” contact for pumping systems offering technical support •Attend and lead on-site or video conferencing meetings •Lead and propose commercial terms in order to win •Present when necessary company capabilities •Manage a secured pipeline of opportunities/ quotes •Forecast orders
