We are seeking a highly technical, proactive Senior Delivery Manager/Tech Lead with expertise in financial crime in the finance service industry. As a key member of the program team, you will manage and oversee all technology deliveries within the program. You will foster strong working partnerships with the Senior Leaders in Finance, their management team and Senior Technology Management team, to provide Strategic Direction, Change Delivery & Transformation direction & Architectural Direction. You will have specialised domain knowledge of Finance Technology, and present key issues and recommendations to the Finance teams. Role remit also extends to ensuring that all Technology control processes are operating as defined and are able to report externally to demonstrate effectiveness. Relationship Management: Manage all technology stakeholder relationships and expectations, representing delivery at the Governance level. Coordination and Implementation: Coordinate multiple activity streams and stakeholders for seamless delivery across fin crime and 1st line technology teams, sourcing, implementation, and business outcomes. Collaborative Work: Work closely with product owners, architects, engineers, and quality assurance teams to drive estimates, delivery plans, and retrospectives. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate engagement risks, with timely escalation of major issues. Business Development: Participate in business development efforts, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities. Program Engagement: Engage in all program workstreams, coordinate technology proposals, definition of implementation design, and present solution architecture and delivery statements of work alongside Solution architects. Expected Qualities and Skills: Cloud Platforms: Solid understanding of cloud platforms, especially Azure, and their related services. Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in technology and software engineering practices, with the ability to guide and influence technical decisions and implement effective delivery practices. Collaboration: Ability to work closely with engineers for efficient delivery and analysis. Data Management: Proficiency in data projects and concepts, including data governance, data quality, data integration, and data lifecycle management. Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, along with related tools. Team Leadership: Experience in building and leading geographically distributed teams, defining the appropriate target operating model. Performance Management: Proven leadership in hiring, mentoring, and managing teams, providing strategic direction, and setting goals aligned with the organization's data strategy Complex Project Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects from initiation to delivery. Key Attributes: Strategic Thinking: Ability to build strong business and technology relationships, adopting a hands-on approach to foster continuous improvement. Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
