Salary Range: £25,628 - £28,326 per annum, plus an annual retention payment of £2,000, as well as a further bonus of £2,000 on your 3-month anniversary

The Role
Join our friendly, committed and supportive team as a Chef Manager at Ticehurst Care Home.
What you’ll be doing:
* Taking full operational responsibility for the catering service, including recruiting and developing the catering team.
* Managing and controlling the catering budget and overseeing the efficiency of all the catering operations.
* Planning and cooking imaginative, well-balanced, and flexible menus, providing great tasting, high-quality, nutritious food for our residents.
* Leading, inspiring, and supporting the catering team, to keep them motivated and equipped to be efficient, flexible and organised.
What we’re looking for:
* Level 2 (or higher) catering qualifications.
* Excellent understanding of food hygiene and health and safety regulations, as well as allergen awareness and its practical application.
* Knowledge of a variety of special dietary requirements.
* Experience of supervising and training others in a similar environment.
* Strong communication skills.
* Compassion, empathy and respect for the residents and their unique needs.
