The Medical Division at Whipps Cross Hospital is actively seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Nurse to join its team in the role of Matron. The primary responsibilities of the successful applicant will be within the ward areas with some outpatient activity to support. The Division provides a wide variety of services which include Frailty, Older people services, End of life care, Respiratory, cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine and Stroke, As a Matron, you will play a key role in maintaining clinical quality and ensuring that clinical governance standards are upheld. You will also have responsibility for nurturing and developing the nursing Team to maximise its potential and focussing on strategies to maintain and improve staff well-being.
