About the role
Dealing with visitors and users of the Museum Service, and to provide general security and public safety within all Northampton Museum sites.
You will work 20 hours per week on an annualised rota, meaning not all hours will be fixed. You will work alternate weekends and some bank holidays, with regular evening work on a pre-arranged rota.
What will you be doing?
You will be undertaking a wide variety of duties that include being the welcoming face of the museum, helping set up exhibitions, dealing with museum enquiries, cleaning, setting up for events, providing refreshments and selling tickets and merchandise in the shop.

About you
We are looking to recruit a vibrant, practical, dynamic and hardworking person to join the Visitor services team within the Museum Service.
Good communication skills, a pleasant and helpful manner, and experience of dealing with the public are essential.
Applicants must be able to work weekends, bank holidays, evenings and be flexible to accommodate the needs of the service.
To act as a Keyholder as required.
