Main Purpose of Role
The Leasing Consultant is a Sales based role, primarily responsible for managing incoming customer enquiries/leads. This role involves responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service and appropriate information is provided. The role directly impacts Sales Team performance and, consequently, the success of the business.
Responsibilities
1. Customer Sales Enquiries/Leads
o Customer Relationship Management – Being the face of the business, this role is critical in building a positive first impression for customers. The Leasing Consultant manages customers through their leasing ‘journey’ and ensures they are supported throughout the Sales process while adhering to the Select ‘DRIVE’ values.
o Day-to-day management of Sales leads/enquiries – Respond to new leads and manage existing customers by following the Sales process and best practices. Ensure all systems are updated accordingly and customers receive clear information regarding their enquiry.
o Performance Measures – Stay on track with daily tasks/activities and adopt the right behaviours to achieve success.
2. Supporting Sales Manager and Wider Management
o Provide support to the Senior Leasing Consultant and/or Sales Manager as required.
o Regularly communicate with the Sales Manager regarding personal performance.
o Assist with Complaints Resolution.
3. Communication
o Clearly communicate appropriate information to customers.
o Maintain regular communication with the manager regarding personal performance.
4. Reporting
o Provide clear reporting on personal Sales performance to the Sales Manager to ensure Sales targets are being achieved.
5. Relationship Management
o Support effective management of relationships with key suppliers and partners where applicable.
o Facilitate internal relationship management between teams/departments.
6. Compliance
o Stay informed of and up to date with Compliance – Complete all e-learning and/or any other applicable training as requested.
o Understand FCA Guidelines and take accountability.
o Identify and log complaints as required.
7. Risk Management
o Identify potential business risks and proactively seek resolutions.
8. Health & Safety
o Support the Select Car Leasing Health & Safety Policy.
o Escalate Health & Safety issues to the H&S Manager and/or Directors.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
1. Experience
o Experience working within the Vehicle Leasing Industry/Motor industry (desirable).
o Experience working within a busy Sales Team.
o Experience of Sales processes and systems.
o Experience of Compliance (desirable - specific to industry).
2. Education/Qualifications
o N/A
