The Role
As Assistant Principal of Teaching and Learning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our college’s strategic direction and leading on key areas, including curriculum development, quality assurance, and staff development. Working closely with the Deputy Principal and College Management Team, you will ensure our provision strives for excellence and continues to meet the evolving needs of our learners and the college community.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Driving high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment across the college.
2. Leading curriculum innovation tailored to SEND learners, ensuring pathways to independence and employment.
3. Championing student voice, safeguarding, and well-being.
4. Supporting, coaching, and inspiring staff to excel in their roles.
5. Building strong partnerships with parents, carers, employers, and external agencies.
6. Overseeing student learning experience.
7. Leading a team of curriculum area managers.
