What You’ll Be Doing
1. Supporting the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
2. Conducting detailed variance analysis and providing insights into financial performance.
3. Collaborating with business partners to create and maintain budgets and financial models.
4. Supporting financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
5. Driving improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting efficiency.
6. Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis for senior leadership, supporting decision-making.
7. Contributing to strategic planning and forecasting activities for various business units.
8. Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial governance standards.
9. Supporting and leading on ad hoc projects in collaboration with colleagues in finance and other business areas.
About You
1. Qualified accountant or finance professional (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) or equivalent.
2. Strong experience in financial planning & analysis, with a focus on forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling.
3. Outstanding Excel skills and ability to analyse complex financial data.
4. Experience of financial modelling using Excel.
5. Strong understanding of financial systems and reporting tools.
6. Strong commercial awareness and an ability to contextualise financial data well.
7. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
8. A proactive mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements.
9. Previous exposure to a fast-paced or regulated environment is a plus.
