We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker Level 2 for our Family Support East team. This hybrid role entails working with families to enhance their well-being while navigating the complexities of social care. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for assessing Family needs, developing tailored support plans, and ensuring that our services are delivered effectively and compassionately. You will work closely with families, schools, and community organizations to identify and mitigate challenges that may be impacting the home environment. This role also requires maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of assessments and interventions, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic support. With your expertise in social work ethics and legal frameworks, you will play a critical role in advocating for families and ensuring they receive the resources they deserve. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of family needs and strengths.
Develop, implement, and review support plans tailored to individual family circumstances.
Establish and maintain effective partnerships with families, schools, and community organizations.
Provide direct support and guidance to families, ensuring ethical and professional standards are upheld.
Advocate for families’ access to necessary services and resources within the community.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.
Participate in team meetings and case discussions to collaborate on best practices and strategies for intervention.
Requirements
Qualified and registered as a social worker with relevant credentials and experience.
Demonstrable knowledge of social work principles, practices, and legal frameworks in family support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with families and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload in a hybrid working environment.
Experience with children and family services, and an understanding of the challenges faced by families.
Ability to conduct assessments and develop structured support plans based on individual needs.
Strong organizational skills and proficiency in maintaining detailed documentation.
Hours Per Week: 37.00

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £31.92
Location: Chicksands, Shefford
