The O2 is looking for a Production Supervisor to assist with delivering the production operation in the arena and special event spaces, ensuring safe and operationally efficient events.
As a Production Supervisor, you will work closely with and supervise the labour provider for The O2 and understand the workings of all the equipment, particularly staging, seating, and rigging.
Whilst managing the contractors on the ground to ensure they’re delivering against the brief, you’ll assist the department with planning on crewing levels for events and act as the Duty Manager for your department on events as rostered.
Contract Type: Full Time
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per year
Location: The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX (Flexible start and end times are open for discussion).
Desired Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Deliver the department event plans, compliant with venue H&S procedures and current guidance and legislation.
2. Have experience of working with rigging and staging either from a venue or theatre or from a music festival background.
3. An IOSH or NEBOSH H&S qualification and a Forklift license would be an advantage, but don’t worry if you don’t as you will be provided with the relevant training.
4. Be a great team player who enjoys getting stuck in and helping out wherever needed and be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external colleagues.
5. You will be expected to raise the bar in this role and be solutions-focused; encourage new ideas and innovation and value everyone’s opinion.
6. You will be provided a thorough induction on how the team works at AEG. The induction and onboarding programme is a great way to meet other new starters in AEG and to learn about the culture and values. You will also be given training in the systems, policies, and procedures so that you’ll be set up for success.
