Job Title: Flight Operations Manager – EFB and Digital (15619)
Description:
You will lead a highly efficient EFB team, responsible for all hardware and software of the iPad and EFB system within Flight and Cabin Operations.
The EFB and Digital team is required to provide operational oversight, governance and support for:
1. Operational device hardware, applications, security and configuration
2. Applicable regulatory compliance
3. Supervision, distribution and control of manuals
4. Continuous improvement
5. All SLAs as per GOS agreements
This role will report into the Head of Business Delivery / EFB Administrator. This role will need key relationships with the Technology Manager, AOC Nominated Persons, EFB application SMEs and manual authors, Flight Operations Management, IT teams, third-party suppliers, Engineering alongside various other easyJet departments.
What you’ll be doing:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the management and development of our iPad and Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) systems for pilots, aircraft, and cabin crew. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the effective and compliant administration of EFB solutions, collaborating across departments and with third parties to drive innovation and implement new technological solutions. You will strategically manage change processes, including software releases, regulatory updates, and system enhancements, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence. As an Apple and aviation expert, you will champion lean practices, cost control, and the use of cutting-edge technology to future-proof our solutions and equip our crew with the best tools available. Responsibilities include asset and supplier management, data security, regulatory compliance, troubleshooting, and project delivery. You will lead a dedicated EFB team, providing mentorship and ensuring performance excellence.
What you’ll need to do the role:
We are looking for a skilled professional with extensive knowledge and practical experience in Flight Operations and Cabin Operations applications and systems, combined with expertise in managing iPadOS and iPad platforms. You should possess exceptional leadership abilities, with a proven track record of leading teams, managing projects, and influencing stakeholders to achieve operational excellence. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with excellent stakeholder and supplier management capabilities. You will bring analytical skills to offer data-driven recommendations and act as a catalyst for change by introducing innovative ideas. Flexibility and adaptability are key, with a willingness to travel across the network to support Operations teams. A commitment to compliance with safety, operational standards, and data protection laws is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure. Experience in implementing updates and upgrades on operational business systems will be highly valued.

Location & Hours of Work:
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We operate on a hybrid model and in this position travel around the network is required.
