The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion. As a Project Manager at Safran Electrical & Power you will plan, develop and deliver projects in line with objectives from defined programs, working within a highly experienced and talented teams within the global aerospace field. You will take ownership of the planning and structuring of activities within project teams, ensuring key stakeholders expectations are realised and economic performance is achieved. You will successfully manage customer relationships within the projects, ensuring customer satisfaction is fulfilled and expectations are maintained. The Role Take full ownership of several aspects of the projects, contributing significantly to the actions taken that will successfully achieve all project objectives. Lead the project from commencement through to closure, coordinating with the project team to ensure delivery of objectives to stakeholders. Successfully plan a range of projects from launch, conducting realistic and efficient initial cost estimates. Make sure each work package has deliverables, description and appropriate budget agreed with the work package owner. Ensure consistency in delivering and meeting customer expectations. Work cross-functionally with multiple teams including program managers, purchasing and engineering, displaying adaptable communicative qualities. Report project statuses to the program teams and participating in integrated program team meetings. Desirable Experience We are looking for candidates with a range of skills and experience, but were also keen to help people grow and develop in this role.If you have some or all of the following, wed love to hear from you: Degree or equivalent experience to allow successful performance of job expectations. Proven experience managing Projects within an Engineering environment Strong experience of stakeholder management and use of Project Management methodologies Strong commercial understanding Aerospace or automotive industry experience preferred. Leadership and people management skills. Ability to deliver clear and concise instructions to a variety of teams and departments. Ability to conduct negotiations both internally and externally. Evidence of written English at interview stage.
