About the Role:
As a History Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic history lessons to Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5
- Plan and implement a creative curriculum that fosters curiosity and critical thinking
- Develop students' historical knowledge, analytical skills, and understanding of diverse perspectives
- Support students in preparing for assessments, GCSEs, and exams
- Participate in extracurricular activities and field trips, enriching students’ learning experiences outside the classroom
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the history curriculum and integrate cross-departmental projects
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a UK-recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) in History or a related field
- Have a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment standards
- Be committed to promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Show enthusiasm for creating memorable learning experiences and motivating students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
