Maintenance Engineer
Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire
£53,000 – Inclusive of Shift Allowance
3 on 3 off permanent nights (6pm – 6am)
This company is part of a global organisation who manufacture food products into major retailers such as Subway, McDonalds, Tesco and many more major companies within the industry.
As a business we have annual turnover well in excess of £15m and have reinvested this into our state of the art facility in Burton. Over the last 5 years we have invested over £60m into our plant and boast an incredibly low staff turnover rate within our maintenance team as a result.
We are looking to fill this vacancy as a result of expansion as we transition into a different shift pattern, as the successful engineer you’ll be part of a small team of 3 dedicated night shift engineers with plan to expand further in the near future.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Planned and reactive maintenance across a wide variety of plant machinery including multivacs, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, relays, inverters, drives, fillers, slicers and much more – Near enough anything that you can expect to find within a food manufacturing facility!
* Involvement in continuous improvements and projects across the site.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations across site whilst ensuring OEE is maximised.
The Successful Engineer
* Multi Skilled with either a mechanical or electrical bias are encouraged to apply – Close to 50:50 as possible is ideal
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a multi skilled maintenance engineer within an industrial environment
* Food experience is beneficial but not a deal breaker, he have engineers from all backgrounds in our team
* Ideally qualified to a minimum of L3 within a maintenance discipline (NVQ/City and Guilds, HNC/D)
