Main purpose of the role
Act as a trusted strategic partner and key operational player, providing essential support as the right-hand to the Operations & Sales Manager (EMEA). This role requires a proactive, highly organised professional who can streamline operations, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, be the key point of contact for warehouse teams across Europe and ensure the Operations & Sales Manager’s initiatives are executed efficiently. This role may require international travel.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, anticipates needs and has the versatility to shift between high-level strategy and hands on execution.
Hybrid working, 3 days a week at our Bracknell office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday).
Key duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
1. Executive Support & Operational Execution
o Act as the primary liaison between the Operations & Sales Manager and internal / external stakeholders
o Prepare meeting updates following up on action items to ensure completion
o Understand the quarterly orderbook, shipment timing expectations and delays.
2. Project Management & Strategic Initiatives
o Lead and execute cross-functional initiatives
o Oversee and streamline workflows across departments to align with business goals
o Identify operational bottlenecks, propose solutions and implement process improvements
3. Warehouse Operations
o Act as the primary liaison between the Operations & Sales Manager and warehouse leads to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution
o Support warehouse team leaders in addressing operational challenges and implementing process improvements
4. Inventory Management
o Collaborate with warehouse managers to perform inventory audits
o Identify strategies to improve inventory management processes
o Generate and analyse inventory reports to provide actionable insights
5. Compliance & Safety Oversight
o Ensure warehouse operations comply with all safety regulations, company policies and industry standards
o Serve as the point of contact for resolving safety concerns raised by warehouse staff
o Facilitate leadership meetings: create agendas, document discussions, monitor follow-ups, and align participants on objectives
o Support in the preparation of operational and business performance reports, sharing insights to drive strategic decisions
6. Operational Optimisation
o Analyse current operations and recommend improvements for efficiency, scalability and cost-effectiveness
o Work alongside department heads and teams to ensure consistency in processes and adherence to timelines / deadlines.
o Anticipate operational challenges and assist the Operations & Sales Manager in implementing solutions proactively
7. Decision Support
o Gather data to assist the Operations & Sales Manager in making informed decisions
o Assess risks and opportunities providing insights and analysis to guide initiatives

* On-time task completion: Completing operational tasks in a timely manner with low error rate
* Warehouse Efficiency: Warehouse staff frequent communication, fast response time dealing with enquiries, improving processes and issue resolution
* Inventory management & compliance: Meet audit and regulatory requirements, support inventory strategy, provide actionable insights.
* Process Optimisation: Deliver improvement initiatives, achieve cost savings and improve order fulfilment rates.
* Decision making: Provide accurate, complete and timely data to support data driven decisions, sharing recommendations where appropriate.
Education and experience
* Bachelor's degree in logistics, operations, business administration, or a related field.
* 5+ years’ experience in operations, project management or executive support roles
* Proven success in supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced growth-orientated environment
* Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
* Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in logistics
* Competent user of MS Excel & Outlook would be highly advantageous
* GCSE’s in English and Maths (grades A-C) or equivalent.
* Language skills would be beneficial but not essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Ability to travel domestically or internationally
