With over 55 years of combined experience in our upper management alone, we are dedicated to delivering outstanding domiciliary care that enables people to live independently in their own homes.
We are also a healthcare training provider, ensuring our carers and external professionals are equipped with the skills to deliver the highest standard of care. From Manual Handling to First Aid, we are committed to raising the bar in all care services.
Now, we are looking for a passionate, driven and experienced Registered Manager to help lead our hive and take our care services to the next level!
Your Role in the Hive
As one of our top bees, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, leading our dedicated team and ensuring our customers receive gold-standard, person-centred care while keeping in line with CQC regulations.
Your Buzzing Responsibilities:
1. Ensure our customers receive the best honey-sweet, high-quality care.
2. Lead and nurture our hardworking colony of care professionals.
3. Oversee care plans, safeguarding and compliance – keeping everything in tip-top shape.
4. Keep the hive happy, motivated and well-trained through support and development.
5. Manage risk, quality assurance and service improvements to keep our standards sky-high.
6. Work closely with families, customers, and healthcare professionals.
7. Be ready to jump into action with on-call duties when needed.
What You Need to Join the Hive:
Essential:
1. Registered Manager status with CQC (or willingness to register).
2. NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management (or willingness to work towards it).
3. Strong knowledge of domiciliary care regulations and best practices.
4. Proven leadership experience in a domiciliary care setting.
5. Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills.
6. A compassionate, bee-autiful approach to care.
7. Flexibility to work on-call as needed.
8. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable:
1. Experience in budget management and financial planning.
2. Knowledge of local authority contracts and commissioning.
3. Familiarity with digital care management systems.
