Primary EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Boston
Job Type: Full-Time hours
Salary: £85 - £95 Per day
Job Duties:
1. Assist the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) teacher in delivering educational activities
2. Support the development of children aged 3-5 years old
3. Help create a safe and stimulating learning environment
4. Work with small groups or individual children to provide additional support
5. Assist with classroom management and behaviour strategies
Required Qualifications:
6. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
7. Enhanced DBS check
8. First Aid certification (desirable)
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Experience:
Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Understanding of the EYFS framework
10. Effective communication skills
11. Ability to work well in a team
12. Patience and flexibility
Preferred Qualifications:
13. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
14. Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) children
Working Conditions:
15. Working hours may vary but expected to be full-time during school hours
16. Regular interaction with children and other staff members
17. Physical activities such as assisting in outdoor play and movement activities
