Job title: Engineering Assurance Manager Location: Barrow-in-Furness or Bristol – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements Salary: Up to £60,000 dependent on skills & experience What you’ll be doing: Lead the Dreadnought Alliance Tier 1 (SDA/Customer) Engineering Assurance Lead the development of the Engineering Management Plan and the Engineering Assurance Management Plan in response to the formation of the Joint Design Authority and keep up to date using a defined review cycle Lead the development of the Joint Design Authority Technical Governance Process to replace the Approving Authority Technical Governance Process Ongoing management of the Dreadnought Alliance Technical Governance including the transition from Approving Authority Technical Governance to Joint Design Authority Technical Governance, ensuring the delivery and secure storage of the technical governance outputs Provide assurance that the developing Technical Risk Management arrangements within the Dreadnought Alliance will reflect the current and future levels of technical risk within the programme Your skills and experiences: Essential: Background in engineering assurance or equivalent experience Maritime engineering experience or equivalent Degree qualified in engineering or STEM, or equivalent experience Desirable: Submarine experience Experience in risk management Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
