Job Title: Project Manager (Structural & Architectural Steel Projects)

About the Role:
A well-established provider of structural and architectural steel solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex contracts from tender through to completion. This role is critical to maintaining high standards of quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction. You’ll work with a skilled team across various sectors, focusing primarily on commercial cut & carve refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Take full ownership of allocated contracts, guiding each phase from pre-start meetings to project completion.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure timely preparation and submission of all required documentation, including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, As-Built documents, and O&M Manuals.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with estimation, drawing, production, and senior management teams to achieve project goals and uphold the company’s reputation.
Time & Budget Management: Maintain projects within set timelines and budgets, with regular progress monitoring and adjustments as needed.
Client-Centric Design: Attend design meetings to confirm project designs meet client expectations, addressing any deviations promptly.
Financial Coordination: Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to stay updated on financials, ensuring timely submission of both interim and final accounts.
Revenue Maximization: Track and document all client instructions and variations to optimize project revenue through accurate cost estimations.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, with post-project follow-ups to encourage repeat business. Requirements:
Substantial experience in project management within structural and architectural sectors.
Demonstrated ability to oversee end-to-end project delivery, including contract management and compliance.
Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on timelines and budget control.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities, adept at liaising with clients and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
Certifications: NVQ Level 6, SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid. Benefits:
