Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement an advanced quality management strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term vision.
* Process Optimisation: Evaluate, redesign, and refine quality processes to streamline operations, reduce variability, and enhance product integrity.
* Team Development: Mentor and inspire a dedicated quality team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Compliance & Audit: Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to relevant statutory and industry standards; lead internal and external audits with confidence and precision.
* Data-Driven Insights: Utilise robust quality metrics and statistical analyses to identify trends, mitigate risks, and drive proactive improvements.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally with production, supply chain, R&D, and senior management to ensure quality excellence permeates every aspect of the organisation.
* Customer Focus: Address quality issues swiftly and effectively, guaranteeing an unparalleled level of customer satisfaction while maintaining transparent communication.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven track record (minimum 5 years) in a quality management role within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
* In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and other industry-specific quality systems.
* Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a team towards excellence.
* Proficient in advanced quality tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma or Lean practices.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong command of advanced British English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
