Job description – Warehouse Manager – Belfast (Mallusk) Depot. Reporting to – Operations Manager Key responsibilities Motivate, organise, and encourage teamwork. Manage all Warehouse departments and ensure they remain efficient, and workflow is completed in a timely manner and, distribute employees according to demands to achieve business performance targets and deadlines. This includes replenishment of consumables in all areas, work equipment and PPE is always available. Ensure all training is completed and records remain updated. Utilise business reporting to ensure maximum efficiencies of the warehouse operation and maintain performance records. Investigate and troubleshoot incidents, accidents and problems. Ensure quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met. Monitor employees to ensure constant performance and productivity, motivate teams when required and coach for performance if necessary. Daily communication with departments to forward plan workloads, analyse information, seek efficiencies, and develop action plans. Manage department spaces continuously to ensure a safe clean and tidy operating environment, this includes but not limited to, management of waste, maintain clear picking aisles, walkways and pallet movement areas are free from hazards. Be the point of contact for Sales and General manager and work closely together to achieve maximum success. Ensure all H&S processes, policies and safe systems of work are being followed and the company is compliant to UK H&S legislation. Day to day running & planning of customer van routes and van Fleet. Able to work under continual but changeable pressures and priorities. Be self-assured and assertive. Competent in conflict management skills. Computer literate; competent in the use of windows, MS office, and MS Dynamics 365. A good critical thinker and problem solver. Building maintenance experience. Valid FLT & drivers’ licence. Strong Knowledge and understanding of WH racking and equipment.
