What will you be doing?
Main responsibilities of the role include:
* Replacing and repairing of panels; straightening and filling
* Completing body alignment
* Welding and bonding
* Filler work, dent removal and pin pulling
* Ensuring vehicles are thoroughly examined and reporting orally/in writing on general condition of vehicles with emphasis on customer safety and satisfaction.
* Working in a manner consistent with the minimisation of lost, non-revenue and/or diversionary time, recording all such time in an accurate and complete manner.
* Keeping work areas clean and tidy, well organised and safe from hazards to Health and Safety.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 08:30am - 05:30pm.
Who are we looking for?
Successful candidates will:
* Have previous experience in Panel repair/replacement in a Bodyshop setting
* Hold an ATA qualification or NVQ Level 3 equivalent.
* Have welding experience
* Be able to carry out large repairs
* Demonstrate a positive, right first time attitude
* Show a great team player mentality
* Work to a very high standard and a high level of accuracy
* Be aware of Health and Safety in the workplace.
